More about me

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCA fueling my passion for understanding human behaviors. Determined to make a difference, I pursued my graduate studies, obtaining a Master's degree from Harding University in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2008. I worked in community and school-based mental health for 7 years, which ignited a passion in working with families and inspired me to obtain my RPT (Registered Play Therapist) certification. I began working in private practice in 2016, where I gained experience working with clients from all ages, backgrounds, and presenting problems. I continued my education by earning an advanced degree of Educational Specialist in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016. In addition to my clinical work, I teach a course on Play Therapy as an adjunct instructor for Harding University.

Life outside of work is full of family and adventure. I love spending time with my husband and our three children, whether we’re traveling or cheering on the kids in their various activities. In my downtime, you’ll likely find me watching sports or catching up on my favorite podcasts and audiobooks.

Hi! I’m Winter, a licensed mental health therapist. My journey toward this career began at age 16, and I’ve remained dedicated to this path ever since. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing the transformation and healing of my clients as they improve their quality of life. Whether it’s hearing a client share something for the first time, seeing hope rekindled, or watching a child express themselves through play, these moments define the meaningful work I do.

I recognize that starting therapy is an act of immense courage. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment for individuals and families to open up. I am deeply grateful to the clients I serve and would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward growth and healing.
